Our department is one of the largest and the most established departments in Ambo University College. Since its inception, the department has pursued excellence in teaching and research.

        Our department is active participant in different reseacrh activities at the college, national and international level. Our academic staff has extensive publication in different national and international journals. Our laboratory is equiped with state of the art equipments, facilitating the teaching and research activities of the department.  

        Department of Applied Biology will continue to be the leader in higher learning in the biological sciences field both in teaching and research, with its dedicated staff, sincere students and laboratory facilities!
